  <title>New Life for Halo CE!</title>
  <link>http://www.mbgaming.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=49</link>
  <description>Digg this article.

One of the best video games in history is coming back to life this year because of the efforts of a small group of fans who are developing new maps of professional quality. This group of gamers, including Insidi0us and ChaosTheory, are utilizing many of the same programs and processes that Bungie used when originally developing Halo CE. There is, however, one big difference between these fan creators and the original creators: this new group is allowing the gaming community to help with the design and development of the maps by contributing ideas in an online discussion forum! This will allow for truly community created maps designed around the skills, tactics, and strategies years of playing the game has produced.

Follow the jump for an exclusive interview with the lead map creator, Insidi0us!</description>

  <title>Next Halo 3 Tournament in Wichita</title>
  <link>http://www.mbgaming.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=45</link>
<description>We have decided that it would be best to postpone this tournament until May for a variety of reasons, some of which include schedule conflicts with our members and the minimal space available in the corporate room we have reserved at The Alley. I apologize for this change, but MBGaming is committed to providing the best tournaments that we can and we did not feel that this was going to be possible for our March date.

We have tentatively selected the weekend of May 23-25 as the rescheduled date for our Halo 3 tournament. We have developed some advertising plans for this tournament as well that should bring in a substantial number of gamers. Because of the lack of space available for the March tournament, we did not pursue paid advertising to try to limit the attendees.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope to continue to bring competitive gaming events to the local community.

The Halo 3 tournament will consist of FFA, 2v2, and 4v4 with rules modeled after MLG&#039;s.
