Next Halo 3 Tournament in Wichita |

We have decided that it would be best to postpone this tournament until May for a variety of reasons, some of which include schedule conflicts with our members and the minimal space available in the corporate room we have reserved at The Alley. I apologize for this change, but MBGaming is committed to providing the best tournaments that we can and we did not feel that this was going to be possible for our March date.
We have tentatively selected the weekend of May 23-25 as the rescheduled date for our Halo 3 tournament. We have developed some advertising plans for this tournament as well that should bring in a substantial number of gamers. Because of the lack of space available for the March tournament, we did not pursue paid advertising to try to limit the attendees.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope to continue to bring competitive gaming events to the local community.
The Halo 3 tournament will consist of FFA, 2v2, and 4v4 with rules modeled after MLG's.

A new organization is starting up here in Wichita that will be hosting frequent LAN's at The Alley. They will allow gamers to bring their own equipment and play against each other and eventually will host occasional tournaments. Check out their holiday schedule on the flyer below!

K-State Halo 2 Tournament - $4000 first place prize! |

An organization called Phoenix Live! is putting on a big 4v4 Halo 2 tournament at Kansas State in January.
Prizes
1st Place team: $4000
2nd Place team: $2000
3rd Place team: $1000
4th - 10th Place Teams: $400
11th - 30th Place Teams: $300
31st- 50th Place Teams: $200

Apparently there are some magazines in the process of writing articles on Halo 3 to be released shortly. One of these magazines (a Swedish one) was apparently leaked, scanned, and the information posted here.
A "man cannon"? What.... ? Already sounding a bit gay...
