Registration

Pre-Registration is available by visiting our Facebook Event Page. If you know you are coming, please accept the Event Invitation on Facebook. A headcount will help us be better prepared for the tournament and will speed up the registration process at the event.

Registration will begin on Friday, May 23rd, at 5:00 PM when the doors open. You must be registered at least 15 minutes before the event you play in is scheduled to begin; this means if you do not want to play in one of the tournaments, you do not need to show up on that day. There is a one time door fee for all gamers plus tournament fees for each event (see below). Each gamer can register for as many or as few of the tournaments as they want. Fees will be collected during registration before tournaments begin.

If you are under 13 years of age, you must print a Release of Liability form and have a legal guardian sign it for you. These will also be available at the venue.

Fees

Door Fee: $10 (see below to get this waived)
FFA: FREE!
2v2: $10 per player - $20 per team
4v4: $30 per player - $120 per team
If you wish to play in all the tournaments for the whole weekend, the total cost is $50 per player.

How to Waive the Door Fee

We need a limited number of volunteers to bring equipment for us to use during the tournament. If you provide us your contact information and agree to bring a TV, Halo 3 disc, and Xbox 360 with the map packs and gametypes loaded, we will waive your $10 door fee. You will be required to leave your equipment at the venue for the whole weekend (Friday through Sunday) and the tournament admins will determine who plays on your equipment. If you would like to volunteer, email a.madman@gmail.com.

Prize Payouts
FFA prizes are...
1st Place: Sennheiser HD-555 Headphones

2nd Place: Xbox 360 Wired Controller

3rd Place: $10 Gamestop gift card

The 2v2 prize pot will be created from 100% of the 2v2 event registration fees. Payout will be a 60/30/10 split for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. $100 of the guaranteed $1,000 prize payout for this weekend is reserved for the 2v2 tournament which means the 1st place team will get a minimum of $60.

The 4v4 prize pot will be created from 100% of the 4v4 event registration fees. Payout will be a 60/30/10 split for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. $900 of the guaranteed $1,000 prize payout for this weekend is reserved for the 4v4 tournament which means the 1st place team will get a minimum of $540.

Example Payouts

20 2v2 Teams:
1st - $240
2nd - $120
3rd - $40

10 4v4 Teams:
1st - $720
2nd - $360
3rd - $120

Game Types and Rules

MLG v5 settings will be used with the exception of the new maps, Blackout and Amplified. Please have these gametypes on your Xbox 360 if you volunteer its use at the tournament! See this thread in our forums for updates.

FFA: Slayer to 50 on Guardian (Single Elimination - top 4 advance)

The FFA tournament will seed the 2v2 and 4v4 tournaments. Remember you can choose to play in as many or as few tournaments as you wish, but if you do not play in the FFA tournament your team will be given a bottom seed for both the 2v2 and 4v4 tournaments.

2v2: Team Slayer to 50 on Guardian, The Pit, Narrows, and Construct (Best of 3 - Double Elimination)

4v4: TS on The Pit, Construct, Guardian, and Narrows CTF on The Pit, Narrows, and Onslaught KotH on The Pit and Construct (Pool Play and Double Elimination)

Each gamer will be required to bring their own Xbox 360 Controller. Wired controllers are recommended.

Venue Location and Info

This tournament will be located at the Alley & Entertainment Center on the northeast side of Wichita (see map below). The tournaments will be held in the party rooms which are located directly to the right through the arcade when you enter the front door of the venue.
